The area is viewed as an attractive location for both businesses and families. Newbury and Thatcham are undergoing significant change with the population set to grow.
Whilst a 30-year timeframe might seem distant, creating healthy and happy communities, meeting net zero targets, delivering infrastructure and supporting sustainable travel habits require us to collectively adopt a long-term view.
The Vision we create now will help maximise opportunities and respond to challenges, creating a long-term Vision in line with the Council’s emerging Local Plan 2021-2037.
